Lemon meringue tarts, sticky date pudding, mars bar slice and the kind of pavlova that gets fought over at Christmas — pulled fresh from our Stanthorpe kitchen.
Bench favouritesThe recipes the kitchen would mutiny over if we tried to take them off the menu. Most of these have been on family tables long before they were on ours.
Buttery shortcrust, proper tangy lemon curd, meringue toasted on top — not the supermarket kind that weeps in the box.
Warm, dense, drowning in butterscotch sauce. Comes ready to reheat with the sauce on the side. Vanilla ice cream optional but encouraged.
The school-tuckshop classic done properly. Rice bubbles base, melted mars bar middle, dark chocolate top. Cuts cleanly, disappears faster.
Crisp shell, marshmallow centre, whipped cream and seasonal fruit. The dessert that ends every Granite Belt Christmas lunch the way it should.
Tart granny smiths, butter-and-oat crumble top. Comes ready for the oven, custard sold separately.
Buttered brioche, vanilla custard, sultanas, nutmeg, toasted just so on top. Comfort dessert at its laziest and finest.
Most desserts come both ways. Grab a single tart for one, or a whole family slab for the dinner crowd.
Pick up from the cafe, or add to your weekly Mumma's Tucker delivery run.
Building a dessert table for a wedding or event? We do that too — see the Events & Catering page or ask us to add desserts to your quote.
