Straight answers

Catering

How far in advance do I need to book a wedding?

Lock us in 6–12 months out for peak season (March–May, September–November). Smaller events and off-peak — 2–4 weeks is usually plenty. Last-minute? Always worth a phone call.

What's your minimum head count for catering?

20 for hot catering, 10 for grazing platters and drop-off menus.

Do you supply staff, plates, glassware and linen?

Staff yes. Plates, cutlery, glassware and linen we arrange through our hire partners and add to the quote, or work alongside what your venue provides.

Will you travel outside the Granite Belt?

Yes — Toowoomba, Warwick, Tenterfield and surrounds are inside our regular run. Anywhere further, we'll quote travel honestly.

Can we do a tasting?

For weddings of 80+, yes. By appointment at our Stanthorpe kitchen.

Meals on Wheels

Is this Home Care Package funded?

Not yet. We're a self-pay service today. Home Care Package eligibility is coming soon — speak to your provider about including us when it's ready.

Do I need an assessment to start?

No. No forms, no waiting list. Place an order and meals start on your suburb's next run day (48 hours' notice for new households).

Can I do soft-food meals for someone with swallowing difficulties?

Yes. Mash-textured mains across the menu — same flavours, gentler texture. Tell us at the order and the whole week comes soft.

What if no one's home at delivery time?

We deliver to a safe spot you nominate (esky on the porch is a regular). Cold-chain holds easily for the day.

Can I pause or stop deliveries?

Yes. No lock-in, no subscription. Pause for a hospital stay, skip a week if family's visiting — give us a day's notice.

Ready-Made Meals & Desserts

How long do frozen meals keep?

Three months at minus-18°C. The date's printed on every tray.

Are they suitable for kids?

Yep. Lasagne, shepherd's pie, butter chicken, mac & cheese — most of our family meals are exactly what fussy eaters will eat. No surprises.

Can I order ready-made for an elderly parent?

You can — but our Meals on Wheels service is built specifically for older adults: smaller portions, soft-food options, and cold-chain hot delivery rather than frozen.

How do I reheat them?

Oven 25 minutes at 180°C for family meals. Microwave 8–12 minutes (high) for single serves. Instructions printed on every label.

The Cafe

Where exactly is the cafe?

Cafe address coming soon — Stanthorpe. We're putting the finishing touches on the location and the address goes live the week we open.

What are the trading hours?

Trading hours updated weekly on our Instagram @mummastucker — follow us so you don't end up out the front of a closed door.

Do you take bookings?

Walk-ins for under 8 people. Larger groups, ring ahead and we'll save you a table.

Delivery & Pickup

Where do you deliver?

Stanthorpe, Toowoomba, Warwick, Tenterfield and the towns within our 100km radius. Check your postcode for confirmation.

Is there a delivery fee?

For Meals on Wheels: built into the meal price for in-radius suburbs. For Ready-Made: flat-rate per delivery — calculated at checkout. Pickup is always free.

Can I pick up instead of getting it delivered?

Always. Pickup from the cafe is available across every line — catering trays, MOW packs, freezer meals and desserts.

Dietary, allergens & values

Can you cater for coeliac, vegan, halal?

Coeliac and vegan — yes, across every line. Halal where we can source the meat — ask, we'll let you know what's possible.

Are your meals diabetic-friendly?

Many are. Tell us at the order and we'll flag the ones that fit and substitute where needed.

Where do you source ingredients?

Granite Belt and Darling Downs producers wherever we can. Beef and lamb from regional butchers, veg from the markets we shop at every week.
